COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Courses are listed alphabetically in Index of All Courses. Each course is listed by number with the course title, the number of units, and the number of hours of lecture and laboratory instruction. Preceding each description are the prerequisites and/or corequisites of the course. All credit courses listed in this catalog are graded courses and meet the definition of “college credit courses” as stated by Section 55002, of Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations. It is District policy that unless specifically exempted by statute, every course, course section or class, the average daily attendance of which is to be reported for state aid, whenever offered and maintained by the District, shall be fully open to enrollment in and participation by any person who has been admitted to the College and who meets the prerequisites as may be established pursuant to Chapter 11, Division 2, Part VI, Title 5 of the California Administrative code, commencing with Section 58108.
